Patchwork Quilt Along Big & Small, Block 7
Welcome to the second half of the 2017 Patchwork Quilt Along Big & Small – Block 7, the Propeller!
I really think this is my favorite Big Block, yet. I love the printed fabric, Handmade by Bonnie & Camille for Moda Fabrics. These prints were part of a fat-eighth packet from my October 2016 Sew Sampler box from the Fat Quarter Shop, and I used them in Block 1, Block 4, and Block 5.
Anyone else have a problem throwing away itty bitty scraps and selvedges?
I had to include this closeup of my design wall. I love these big shutters. When I first moved them to my sewing room (I wrote about it during the Crossroads Quilt Along), it was really more in an effort to find a spot for them other than leaning against the garage wall. I really had no idea how much I would end up using them to hang blocks, premade borders, etc.
