Swagbucks: Earn Free Stuff While Black Friday Shopping

Happy Thanksgiving!!!

Normally I wouldn’t be posting on Thanksgiving, but in Monday’s post, I shared some ideas about how I cut costs on some of my quilting supplies, and it dawned on me this morning (DUH! as my email was bombarded with pre-Black Friday sales) I need to tell you about Swagbucks!! I use this all the time and then redeem points for free Amazon gift cards. Let me explain. And seriously, if you haven’t heard of this or used it, you need to. Just read.

Swagbucks

What Is It?

Swagbucks can be used as a search engine and will reward you “Swagbucks” for your internet searches (without even making a purchase). Membership is completely free.  Simply click on the picture above or go here to register with an email address and create a password to open your Swagbucks account. Then start searching and shopping!

Swagbucks

You can get cash back (Swagbucks or SB points) by shopping at more than 1500 retailers including Amazon, Walmart, Target, and Starbucks. Earn SB points for every dollar you spend plus get access to exclusive deals and coupons to your favorite retailers. During Black Friday a lot of the earnings are even higher!

Swagbucks Black Friday

Is This For Real?

ABSOLUTELY! I have a list of free gift cards to prove it and know several other people who have successfully used Swagbucks for years.

What Do I do After I Join?

You can search the internet directly from the Swagbucks homepage or install the Swagbutton.  I use the Swagbutton and here is a screenshot of my computer. When I want to search, I click the Swagbutton on my internet toolbar. A dropdown box appears. I can search without having to open up the Swagbucks homepage. It also shows my available Swagbucks, which you’ll see are low right now, because I cashed them out earlier this week for Amazon gift cards (preparing for Black Friday).

There’s so much more to know, but these are the highlights. I wish I could spend more time writing, but my Fitbit 10,000 steps are calling me to be done, and I have bread pudding to make (and squeeze in a shower) before 2:30 this afternoon! Again, Happy Thanksgiving and and Happy Shopping this weekend!
