Crossroads Quilt Along Mini House Block

Happy weekend and welcome to Crossroads Quilt Along Mini! After all the comments and emails, it seems I’m not the only one wanting to continue doing mini quilts this year, so each month I will share a miniature version, for those of you following along.

Crossroads Quilt Along Mini House Block 1

If you’re not familiar with the Crossroads Quilt Along, I wrote more about it here. The instructions for each 8-inch, full size, monthly block are provided by the Fat Quarter Shop. You need those instructions, as I am only providing replacement measurements to create a 4¼” block each month. Share your progress and creations with us on Crossroads Facebook group. Post your blocks using #crossroadsquiltalong and #crossroadsquiltalongmini on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.

Crossroads Quilt Along Mini Block 2

Despite our unseasonably gorgeous weather here in Kansas, I’ll be staying inside long enough to quilt the Diamond Block #2 which will be released soon, so check back here in a few days for the mini version of it. I will also be sharing throughout this quilt along tips from my sewing room, and I’d love to hear any ideas or see any pictures you have that make your creative process easier. Also, visit the other quilters on their blogs and instagram every month to see their progress. If you haven’t checked out the videos supplied by the Fat Quarter Shop, you might want to do so.
