Smart Creative Style with Monica Lee
My husband Cary came home this morning with mail. “You’ve got a package,” he said, handing it to me. I was surprised, eyebrows lifting…I wasn’t expecting anything. Then I saw the return label. “Oh my gosh! It’s from Monica Lee!” It was Cary’s turn to look surprised. “Who is Monica Lee?”
Who?? You ask WHO??? Poor hubby had one of those looks you hear about, where men think their wives have gone off the deep end. “Monica Lee is an artist,” I replied. I know I sounded almost offended. “She’s teaching my class that starts next week.” I was ready to go into much more detail, but luckily for him the UPS man arrived at that moment, and Cary seemed much more excited about opening his new tube socks from Amazon. Seriously…he has no appreciation.
I mean, after all, look at what was in my package! It’s bea-u-ti-ful! An elegantly designed book, filled with inspirational quotes and the packaging! Gorgeous! Beautiful bow, wonderful thank you card and who…WHO, I ask you, actually has gold polka dot tape to match the notecard it was holding in place? Even the book cover has coordinating gold polka dots. Yummy!
