Patchwork Quilt Along Big Block 10
Hello October and Big Block 10 of the FQS Patchwork Quilt Along! This month’s Country Roads blocks were a breeze to make and with the weather getting cooler, it makes it easy to stay inside and sew, sip on some yummy chai lattes and burn my favorite pumpkin spice candles. I’m a total nut for autumn and everything pumpkin and spice!
These blocks were so quick to make! With no points to match anywhere (praise the Lord, halleluiah, amen!), they were a nice break from some of my other projects. I still remember reading a lot of comments online when we were doing Block 4, and matching points on the small blocks was frustrating several quilters at that time!
My big block print fabric this month is Handmade by Bonnie & Camille for Moda Fabrics. I’m still using from the fat-eighth packet that was included in my Sew Sampler box from the Fat Quarter Shop from last October. I also used this line for Big Block 5 and Big Block 7.
