Eat that frog…

"Eat a live frog every morning, and nothing worse will happen to you the rest of the day.” -Mark Twain.

In other words, get your most dreaded task out of the way each day before you doing anything else. Today, I gave the theory a shot and guess what? Now? Several hours after? It feels fantastic! My "frog" is exercising. I do it, but I spend the entire day dreading it until I do. Don't ask me why, because once I'm actually working out, I feel great, but until then….doom and despair.

Today was different. I worked out before I did anything else. My alarm went off at 4:45am, and I was at the gym on the treadmill by five, back in bed shortly after six, and it felt really good when I woke up at my normal time and it was done (frog has a nice aftertaste).

The best benefit about eating a frog is the motivation it gives to the rest of the day. Like this:

Right there…..the coat hook rack. I bought it from Pottery Barn at least a year ago and have had to work around it laying in my pantry rather than hang it. Don't ask why it took so long. I think partly fear. I hate putting big holes in the wall. Today I bit the bullet though and about ten minutes later voila! Why do I procrastinate so long? Grrrr!

Now, I'm working on another project I hope to share with you in the next day or so. Here's a peek…..

Time to get back to work on it, as I hope to have it available this week as a freebie for all of you!
