Clementine Quilt Along – Peaches & Plenty

It’s Peaches & Plenty time, Block 3 of the Fat Quarter Shop Clementine Quilt Along!  I love having a project I can work on a little each month, watching it grow. It’s peaceful.

It’s been unseasonably warm in Kansas, and this past week I noticed my first hyacinth beginning to bloom. Being that it was also the first week of spring, which I love, I found myself wanting to pull out some cheery decorations and brighten my reading corner.

April Rosenthal’s Mama’s Cottage for Moda Fabrics are made for spring! It was late in the day, and I needed a spot with enough sunlight to photograph my blocks. I put them on my “fence frame” that I made last year. They look so pretty there, it’s going to be hard to take them down to put into the quilt eventually….makes me happy every time I look at that corner of the room!

Speaking of spring….have you checked out the sale going on at Fat Quarter Shop? Awesome!! I couldn’t help myself.  I already bought three patterns this morning to download.  They were all Thimble Blossom patterns, most of which are on sale this month, except a few that are brand new releases. My shopping trip included:

and last but definitely not least (I think my new favorite and going to start on it today because it’s raining……drumroll please…..

What’s the point of loving everything spring and not getting this? It’s brand new and sooooo adorable. I haven’t bought any of Camille’s “Ville” patterns, but I finally caved. Must have.
