Change of plans

Today was supposed to be all about quilting, having cleaned my scrap bin yesterday. Sometimes, when starting new projects, it’s a lot easier to clean up from the old ones! Those plans changed this morning when I realized the ice maker had quit working and, with 100+ degrees forecast for this week, I’m in need of ice. Sooooo………..

Instead of quilting, I waited for the repairman who “would try to get out sometime in this afternoon.” I swear, I need more stuff to break down, I guess. Since my sewing room is in the basement, it forced me to stay upstairs so I could hear the doorbell. He didn’t make it out, today, but I can’t really complain. Life works in strange ways….the ground floor of this house is spotless! With not much else to do, I cleaned. And cleaned. And cleaned some more.

So, I don’t have any sewing to show, yet, but I did want to share my garden!!  I ended the evening with a stroll through the yard and the warm weather has things sprouting! Time to pick a few things!
