Folks, we are on the final blocks with week 8 of Fat Quarter Shop’s Perfect 10 Sampler Quilt Along! Not only that, we’re already in December. They say time goes by faster as you get older. I’m feeling about 150 right now, it’s zipping by so fast!

Let me introduce you to this week’s blocks: Rocky Road on the left and Rainbow Sherbert on the right. I picked the wrong quilt along to cut back on sweets.

Rocky Road is such a simple block, but so sweet.

Even though we’re making the Perfect 10 Sampler Quilt,  which includes all the blocks in the book, each block has it’s own dedicated quilt in the Perfect 10 Book  by It’s Sew Emma. If you haven’t seen the book, pop over to the Fat Quarter Shop web site and look at all 16 quilts featured in the book. It will be worth your trip!

Our final blocks of the quilt along were two Rainbow Sherbert blocks.

And of course, I was loving these bonus HST blocks to add to my stash!

And the design wall is FULL! I had blocks hanging off the edge, it was so packed. In truth, it’s now empty. I’ve already pulled everything off and started the assemby process.

I pulled a quilt off it yesterday and am hoping to have my finished Perfect 10 quilt all quilted and ready to share with you next week. Cross your fingers!
