Getting started with quilt alongs

I stumbled across my first quilt along, Snapshots Charity Quilt Along hosted by the Fat Quarter Shop. I honestly don’t remember how, but I’m guessing I was online shopping or something??? It was the happiest stumble I ever took. Never would I guess the the adventures that awaited me: more quilt alongs, miniature meeting so many other quilters through social media (new to me at the time), and years later it still doesn’t get old!
